February 15 @ 10:00 – 16:00
On Parinirvana Day we celebrate the Buddha’s long life dedicated to teaching the Dharma and mark his passing from human existence. It is an opportunity to bring to mind loved ones who have died and reflect on the fleetingness of human existence as we rejoice in the freedom brought about by practising the Dharma. You’re invited to bring pictures of people who have died to be added to the shrine.
The day will be led by Order Member Chandramani and start with the regular Sunday morning drop in meditation, suitable for newcomers.
Everyone welcome, no cost and no need to book, just turn up. Please bring some vegan food for a shared lunch.
