Earth Sangha – Forest Farm Volunteering

November 1, 2025 @ 10:00 12:00

Our next Earth Sangha event will be helping with looking after the baby trees at Forest Farm Tree Nursery before they get planted out across Cardiff later this winter!

This was a popular event last time we did it and you will need to book with Forest Farm on the link below.

If you’re coming by train you can meet organisers Alokasanya and Padmabodhini at 9.45am at Radyr train station and walk across with them. If you’re coming by other means and want them to keep an eye out for you, let us know! You can join the Earth Sangha Whatsapp group by clicking this link for any updates on the day, or for you to let us know if you’ll be late. If you can’t join the Whatsapp group, please email connect@cardiffbuddhistcentre.com to confirm you’ll be attending.

Come ready for the weather, and also worth bringing some snacks and drinks.

If you are attending the event please sign up with Forest Farm Tree Nursery on this link.

About The Group

The Cardiff Earth Sangha is a regular group dedicated to understanding the climate crisis through the lens of compassion, mindfulness, and interconnectedness. We explore how Buddhist teachings can guide us in cultivating a deeper awareness of our relationship with the Earth and empower positive action for a sustainable future. Together, we can bring mindfulness to our environmental challenges, understand our own emotions around the subject and as a group take action to engage with nature and make a positive change.

We run sessions at the Centre looking at how Buddhist ideas can inform our response to the climate crisis. These are free, drop in events, no need to register.

We also have volunteering to support groups taking action on the climate or doing activities which connect us with nature.

To get all our Earth Sangha updates and volunteering opportunities why not join the Whatsapp group by clicking this link (no spam we promise!).
