Sangha Night: The Third Ethical Precept and Stillness Simplicity and Contentment

Sangha Night, Tuesday 15th October
The Third Ethical Precept and Stillness Simplicity and Contentment
Talk and discussion
Led by Vishvapani
The third of the five Buddhist ethical precepts is ‘I undertake to abstain from sexual misconduct’, and the positive counterpart is ‘With deeds of loving kindness I purify my body’. The precept prompts us to reflect on how we might hurt others in the realm of sex, and how we can avoid that and become more content. It’s a large and sometimes difficult area to explore, but an important one.

Sangha evenings are suitable for those who have completed an introduction to Buddhism course or/and are familiar with the Triratna meditations.  We look forward to meeting you.
