Sangha Night: Living Ethically
Tuesday 17th September 7:15-9:30
A talk by Vishvapani introducing the Five Precepts
How can we give account to ethical values in the face of the challenges life brings? The Five Precepts are Buddhism’s ethical guidelines, and this Autumn in Sangha Night we will be exploring how we can put them into practice in our lives.
In Buddhism, ethics is seen as a matter of training: we cultivate our awareness, develop inner qualities and learn through experience until ethical behaviour becomes instinctive. Join us as we learn how to do this.
Sangha evenings are suitable for those who have completed an introduction to Buddhism course or/and are familiar with the Triratna meditations. We look forward to meeting you.
