Learn to Meditate: Six week course


A six week course on Mindfulness of Breathing

Wednesdays:  19/09/2018 to 24/10/2018 – 7.15pm – 9.15pm

The stresses and strains of modern life often mean our minds are over-stimulated, we feel distracted, and we can never truly relax.  Mindfulness of breathing meditation can help to slow mental traffic so that we become more grounded in our moment-by- moment experience and less overwhelmed by relentless thinking. As Kamalashila in his book Meditation says:

There is much to be gained by developing our ability to concentrate.  As we concentrate our attention, we begin to ‘find ourselves’ – to uncover something deeper and truer in our nature.

This course offers an opportunity to learn a traditional Buddhist meditation practice which will enable the art of concentrating the mind through focus on the breath.
