Not about being good – online
Not About Being Good 2022- *ONLINE*
(A practical course on how to live and what to do)
No one wants to feel like they’re being told what to do – we like to think we know what’s best for ourselves and others. The trouble is our life doesn’t always bear that out.
A key Buddhist insight is that consciousness isn’t fixed; we are creating it all the time by our actions of body, speech and mind. This means we can shape our future.
On this online course we will explore how to act in ways that help our lives to flourish and contribute positively to the lives of those around us.
Open to all but particularly if you have done an intro to Buddhism and Meditation course in the past 2 years and want to take things further – this is a good place to begin.
The course is based on Subhadramati’s book Not About Being Good available for purchase at the Cardiff Buddhist Centre (contact email@example.com to reserve your copy) or from the Windhorse publishing website.
9th and 23rd January (9:30 am – 1:30 pm),
plus a home practice follow-up on 6th February (4:00 pm – 5:30 pm).
Fully Waged: £50.00
Part Waged: £30.00
Tamonuda, Alokasanna and team look forward to seeing you there!
