Film Night: Gandhi
This three-hour long epic tracks the story of Mahatma Gandhi’s struggle to lead India to independence from British colonial rule. Gandhi’s leadership urged non-violent resistance against brutal British oppression is powerfully portrayed, though the film glosses over much of what made Gandhi controversial, leaving much for us to discuss!
The film will start at 7pm. If you want, you can join us for dinner from 6pm (please bring a vegan dish to share).
Film nights, like much of the rest of Cardiff Buddhist Centre, can take place because of the generosity of people who come along.
If you can, please pay what you feel it is worth to you — we suggest £5.
We hope to see you there.
