“Dhyana through the Body” Led by Rijumitra
An Invitation to a Meditation weekend: Led by Rijumitra
Sat 28th and Sunday 29th Oct 2017
We are delighted to announce that Rijumitra is returning to Cardiff to lead a meditation weekend. Rijumitra has been one of the teachers at the Vajraloka meditation retreat centre for many years, and has a very reflective and delightful approach to practice.
The Theme: “Dhyana through the Body” an introduction to the theme of accessing the Dhyanas.
Mindfulness of breathing is above all a body meditation, yet ironically some people do it with virtually no actual experience of their body. What is the breath experientially? By uncovering our actual bodily experience, resources for entering dhyana can be discovered right here, already present – just waiting to be noticed.
The days will begin at 10am ( doors open 9.30am) and finish at about 4.00pm, bringing a vegetarian lunch to share.
Saturday is open to anyone familiar with the Metta Bhavana and Mindfulness Meditations,
Sunday is open to: Going for refuge Mitras and Order members. (to book both days see Sunday 30th Oct bookings)
You can book on-line below.
The cost for each day is £35/25/15. (waged/low waged/benefits), with a £10 discount for those of you that can come on both days.
