Buddha Day Festival
Sunday 26th May at the Buddhist Centre
9.30 for a cuppa, 10 o’clock in the shrine room.
We invite you to join us in celebrating Buddha day an opportunity to appreciate the birth of the Buddha Gautama, a human being who became enlightened and then taught others, building a spiritual community to which we now belong. A message of truth that is timeless.
There will be friendship, meditation, a talk and a puja. We will finish with a vegan lunch please bring something to share.
Also there will be a plant sale very kindly organised by Laura, where people have donated plants to raise money to keep the Buddhist Centre thriving.
All are welcome old friends and new,
with metta Tamonuda, Alokasanna and Saranasiri.
