Buddhist Action Month 2017: Connecting For Change

For June there will be a series of events to support .

This Year’s Theme: Connecting For Change

At the heart of Triratna is the Bodhisattva Ideal – the aspiration and heartfelt wish to benefit others and the commitment to act in ways that help all beings to thrive. Many of us in Triratna are engaged in this by sharing the Dharma at our city based Buddhist Centres, retreat centres and practice groups, as well as through our work and the way we live our lives.

Buddhist Action Month is an opportunity to reach out and engage with friends or local communities in ways that we may not be able to do for the most part during the year. ‘BAM’ is an invitation for one month to take part and get involved in actions that express our care and concern for our planet and our environment – for all living beings that exist on it – in a practical way.

Join us for BAM 2017 to help raise awareness, to share and discuss concerns, hopes and ideals, and to put into action concrete steps that help advance a positive vision for the future – whether within our local communities or the global community!

Further information of what’s planned for the Cardiff Centre will be in addition to the following sangha dates;

30th May BAM week one: Intro to BAM and the events planned

6th June BAM week two: Bec’s send off to Ordination (Bec has been instrumental in our BAM events over a number of years)

13th June BAM week three: Led by the Young Persons Sangha

20th June BAM week four: Paramabandhu’s book launch

27th June BAM week four: Close and celebration of what we have achieved this year!
